Ha ha haz re!

The funny old man did it again. Until yesterday politics and politicians were his bĂȘte noire. And today, he wants to form a political party - to fight corruption! I know you are laughing out loud and scratching your head in utter confusion as to what this veteran social activist and freedom fighter  - yes, I am talking about Anna Hazare – is up to!
With a bizarre idea of a Jan Lok Pal to abolish the biggest social evil of all times – corruption – the strong man from Maharashtra Kisan Baburao Hazare, was spearheading a mass movement ‘India Against Corruption’ with obstinacy.
And overnight the things turned upside down.
It is evident that from the turn of events that the Central government’s unwillingness for negotiations coupled with lukewarm reaction by people, the venerable Gandhian has decided to climb down.
Failing health of Anna Hazare and his colleagues Arvind Kejriwal, Gopal Rai and Manish Sisodia was also another reason for calling off the fast, according to reports.
“It is another two years to go to polls in 2014. We have to go to people throughout the country in the next one-and-a-half years. Why waste time on fasts?” Hazare quoted by newspapers as saying.
Asserting that the decision to join electoral politics was to combat “rotten politics of the country”, Hazare reportedly declared at Jantar Mantar: “Parliament showed total unity only on two issues; one was opposition to Lokpal, and another, hike of MPs’ salary.  We will have to give a political alternative and elect people with character to Parliament.” He, however, made it clear that he would not be a part of electoral politics.
However, by this evening we will get more details. Watch out guys!
