Dirty politicians’ sleazy side!

Yet another politician has been accused of driving a young woman to suicide. The accusation comes in the form of a very long suicide note left behind by the victim who wrote: "I am ending my life today because I am shattered from inside. My trust has been broken, and I have been cheated."
This is not the first time politicians are accused of rape, outraging modesty, confinement and sexual harassment, intimidation, murder and other crimes of heinous kind.  It’s shocking to see that people who are supposed to fight for the rights and welfare of the public, themselves are involving in this kind of criminal activities.
In this latest case, the victim, a former airhostess of the domestic MDLR airline, Geetika Sharma, committed suicide by hanging herself recently, leaving behind a note accusing the airline's owner and Minister of State (MoS) in the Haryana government, Gopal Kanda, of harassing her and forcing her to take the extreme step.
There have been innumerable reports on such acts by political leaders from across the country. Unfortunately the law of the land could not do anything concrete to wipe out the evil. Always, using their clouts, these wily politicians escaped unharmed.
It is sad to see the plight of our society.  It is shame for all of us!
